The location of the cottage was ideal for exploring the surrounding villages and attractions. the nearby pub, Tite Inn, served excellent food and had friendly staff. There was also a shop, deli, and butcher within walking distance. the cottage itself was spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a cozy fireplace. the owner was accommodating and even let our child ride his tractor.
Limited mobility individuals may find the cottage unsuitable due to high bath/shower and low ceilings in certain areas.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of Picket Piece Cottage. The decor was reminiscent of a bygone era, with beautiful antique furniture and tasteful touches throughout. As a senior woman, I found the cottage to be very accessible, with wide doorways and stairs that were easy to navigate. The general areas, such as the living room and dining area, were spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind.
While the children working there were helpful and friendly, I would have appreciated a bit more assistance with carrying my luggage up the stairs.
